B'har  & B’Chukotai

We close our study of Sefer V’yikra this Shabbat with the last two of its parshiyot. The first is B’Har, which spans V’yikra 25.1 through 26.2.B’Har means on the mountain and emphasizes that the commandments given in these passages were among the commandments given to Mosheh on Mount Sinai. The par’sha opens with the laws governing the Sh'mitta year and the Yovel.
