The Book of Daniel is a course designed to orient students on the principles of inductive Bible study and applying them to the Book of Daniel. With deep insight, Rabbanit (Rebbetzin) Angie Boleware leads a comprehensive tour among the people, places and events that are described in the Book of Daniel.
Tucked away on a quiet street in Flowood just off Lakeland Drive, Congregation Beit Lechem is not only a church home to Messianic Jews who drive as far as two hours for Shabbot services each Saturday morning, but a place where people of all denominations gather and look to one source for the many unanswered questions they have about their faith journey.
2 Chronicles 15:5 -7
5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
We close our study of Sefer V’yikra this Shabbat with the last two of its parshiyot. The first is B’Har, which spans V’yikra 25.1 through 26.2.B’Har means on the mountain and emphasizes that the commandments given in these passages were among the commandments given to Mosheh on Mount Sinai. The par’sha opens with the laws governing the Sh'mitta year and the Yovel.
